My mom is in her late forty, but unlike other parents' idol, her favorite singer is JJ Lin, a Singapore singer who is just 30. I started to listen to his song in high school, and my mom fell inlove with his voice. My dad laughed at her because he thought those songs are for teenagers, but she still went to buy lots of his albums. after she got the albums, she plays it on her car whenever she drives it. Consequently, we have to listen to JJ's song whenever we are on her car.
Last month, she went to a TV show to see JJ. She got a chance to took a photo with him, and then she was so excited that she changed both her lap top and cell phone's wall paper into that photo. Yesterday, we went to see a school concert. The show was started at 5:00, but she asked to be there at 2:30. we stayed in line and waited for so long before we got into the court. However, after listening to him live, I admitted that he is a really good singer.
I think my mom is very cute and fashion, because she can always accept new things and be interested to everything.

Flamenco Night
I have been learning Flamenco dance for a semester, and I am really in it.
Last Saturday, I was invited to a Flamenco performance in the restaurant La Caja de Musica. It took me a while to find the restaurant because it was a exotic Spanish restaurant hides in a small lane. When I get there, I payed $250 for the show, and the Spanish waiter offered me a bottle of Spanish beer.
The show was performed by the dancing group called La Gitanita initially formed by my two teachers, and more dancers joined it later.
During the show, there are not only dancing but there are also singing and guitar performance. That was a complete performance because there was a clapper, a guitar player, and a singer, which are the three elements of Flamenco dance. I was stunned because it was the first time that I saw a complete Flamenco show. What I want to learned from them was good at both sing, dancing, and even academy(most of the performers were graduated from NTU).
At the end of the show, the host said something that I was impressed"Flamenco in Spain is actually like traditional Taiwanese opera in Taiwan, which is not often appreciated by the young generation". Therefor, as I learn Flamenco, I am actually helping Spanish preserve their tradition. It is irony to think so.
