Flamenco Night

I have been learning Flamenco dance for a semester, and I am really in it.
Last Saturday, I was invited to a Flamenco performance in the restaurant La Caja de Musica. It took me a while to find the restaurant because it was a exotic Spanish restaurant hides in a small lane. When I get there, I payed $250 for the show, and the Spanish waiter offered me a bottle of Spanish beer.
The show was performed by the dancing group called La Gitanita initially formed by my two teachers, and more dancers joined it later.
During the show, there are not only dancing but there are also singing and guitar performance. That was a complete performance because there was a clapper, a guitar player, and a singer, which are the three elements of Flamenco dance. I was stunned because it was the first time that I saw a complete Flamenco show. What I want to learned from them was good at both sing, dancing, and even academy(most of the performers were graduated from NTU).
At the end of the show, the host said something that I was impressed"Flamenco in Spain is actually like traditional Taiwanese opera in Taiwan, which is not often appreciated by the young generation". Therefor, as I learn Flamenco, I am actually helping Spanish preserve their tradition. It is irony to think so.
