I am a student who changed my major from Ethnology into Diplomacy, and I have met someone who changed her major from Law onto Diplomacy. She is a special person because she has not only good score but also a strong personality.
She got 3 place on our class last semester, but she was not proud of herself at all. Instead, she still work hard and was not satisfied. I thought then that if the person got 3 place had been me, I would go to have a really big meal, and relax in the next semester.
That was not the thing that I admire her the most. In a morning on last month, I got her phone call from her, and she said that I might have to tell the teacher that she was going to be absent, because her father is critically ill. At noon, she phoned me again and told me that her father just passed away. I thought she might be extremely sad, but she actually told me that she was ok. On the next day, I thought she might be too sad to come to school, however, she showed up in class, and payed even more attention then me. That was just the start. She still always hung in her homework on time, and was very positive in every project.
You might think that she does not care about her father much, but when I told her that she was very strong, she said that she cried every time when seeing her father while he was still alive, and she once cried in class because she miss her father. Something I learned from her is that, nothing is excuse to studying.
